Colegio Montessori Medellín

Colegio Montessori Medellín is a celebrated bilingual private school with over 45 years of educational excellence in Colombia's vibrant second city. Ranked among the country's best schools, the Medellín campus opened in 1976 and has since established itself as a dynamic centre for innovative, student-centred learning. True to the Montessori philosophy, the school emphasises hands-on, self-directed education that nurtures curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning — from Early Childhood all the way through to Secondary School graduation. Instruction is delivered bilingually in Spanish and English, preparing students for Colombia's National Programme while also building the language proficiency required for international university applications. The school participates actively in inter-school competitions, including its own Montessori Math Olympics, and maintains a rich extracurricular programme spanning sports, arts, and environmental education. Colegio Montessori Medellín continues to be the school of choice for progressive, educationally conscious families throughout Antioquia and greater Medellín.
