Colegio Hacienda Los Alcaparros

Colegio Hacienda Los Alcaparros is an educational campus on the road to La Calera serving families in the northern Bogotá area. On its official site, the school explains that it was created to help new generations become individuals who contribute to their community and the environment, with a strong emphasis on ethics, ecological awareness and global culture. Its educational model is built around active learning, giving students meaningful freedom to choose materials, express ideas, develop projects from their own interests and reflect on what they do. The school presents this approach as central to human development rather than simply academic performance. Alcaparros also stresses close support through each stage of schooling and highlights the role of its spacious campus as part of the learning experience. News and school communications on the site show ongoing work in sustainability, student leadership and university readiness. For families looking for a Bogotá-area school with an outdoors-oriented campus and a child-centered methodology, Colegio Hacienda Los Alcaparros offers a thoughtful combination of active learning, community values and environmental responsibility.
