Colégio Cruzeiro Rio de Janeiro

Colégio Cruzeiro is one of the oldest and most distinguished German-Brazilian schools in Rio de Janeiro, with over 160 years of tradition. Originally founded as a Deutsche Schule, Colégio Cruzeiro uniquely fuses German and Brazilian educational cultures into a single institution of exceptional learning. From Kindergarten onwards, German language immersion is a daily reality, and the school offers language certifications and a Study Trip to Germany in secondary school, providing students with an authentic connection to German culture and language. Colégio Cruzeiro operates multiple campuses across Rio de Janeiro (Centro, Jacarepaguá, and others), making quality education accessible to families throughout the city. The school delivers the Brazilian national curriculum (BNCC) with the added distinction of bilingual Portuguese-German instruction, producing graduates who are fluent in both languages and competitive in national and international university admissions. The school's long-standing commitment to academic quality, cultural exchange, and community values has earned it a trusted reputation among Rio de Janeiro families for generations.
