Colegio Benedictino de Santa María

Colegio Benedictino de Santa María is a bilingual Catholic school in Envigado, part of the greater Medellín metropolitan area. The school presents a full educational path that begins in Prejardín and Jardín and continues through grade 11, combining academic formation with an explicitly international and bilingual approach. Its admissions material highlights a dual-immersion model in English and Spanish from the earliest years, along with an intercultural focus intended to help students communicate confidently in global settings while remaining grounded in local values. The school also notes that students can pursue an American High School Diploma through its partnership with Académica International Studies, adding an international credential alongside the Colombian bachillerato. Located on the Loma de los Benedictinos, the campus serves families looking for strong language education, Catholic identity, and continuity from early childhood through secondary school. This combination of bilingual immersion, international certification pathways, and long-form school continuity makes the Benedictino one of the notable private-school options in the Medellín area.
