Colégio Bandeirantes

Colégio Bandeirantes, affectionately known as 'Band', is one of Brazil's most celebrated secondary schools and a São Paulo institution since its founding on March 1, 1934. Located in the Vila Mariana neighborhood, Band serves students in Ensino Fundamental II and Ensino Médio (ages 11–17) with a singular focus on academic excellence and university preparation. For nearly a century, Colégio Bandeirantes has distinguished itself by consistently placing students in Brazil's most competitive universities — including USP, Unicamp, and the ITA — and producing alumni who go on to leadership roles in business, science, law, medicine, and the arts. The school's rigorous, innovative curriculum stimulates critical thinking, scientific reasoning, and humanistic development. Band embraces technology in education while maintaining the depth of classical Brazilian academic traditions. Its strong culture of student protagonism, teacher dedication, and community engagement makes it a benchmark institution not only in São Paulo but across Brazil. The school also offers an international program in partnership with leading global educational bodies.
