City Montessori School Lucknow

City Montessori School (CMS) Lucknow, founded in 1959 by Dr. Jagdish Gandhi and Dr. Bharti Gandhi with just five students and a borrowed 300 rupees, has grown into the world's largest school with over 55,000 students across 20 campuses in Lucknow — a feat certified by the Guinness Book of World Records. The school offers both CBSE and International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes, serving students from nursery through Grade 12, ages 3 to 18 years. CMS's educational philosophy uniquely combines Montessori principles of child-centered learning with a strong emphasis on world unity, peace, and universal values.
