Cadet College Skardu

Cadet College Skardu, established in 1979, is a unique residential educational institution located in Skardu, the capital of Gilgit-Baltistan and gateway to some of the world's highest mountain ranges, including K2. The college offers Matric and FSc programmes following the Aga Khan University Examination Board and FBISE curriculum in a military-inspired residential environment at high altitude. Cadet College Skardu has played a vital role in expanding quality secondary education in one of Pakistan's most remote and mountainous regions, providing Gilgit-Baltistan's talented students with access to the structured, rigorous education of a cadet college. The college emphasises academic excellence, discipline, leadership, character development, and physical fitness alongside the spectacular backdrop of the Karakoram mountains. The residential campus includes dormitories, dining halls, science laboratories, a library, sports facilities, and a mosque.
