British International College Pretoria

British International College (BIC) Pretoria is the capital city campus of the respected British-curriculum examination centre, with its counterpart in Bryanston, Johannesburg. BIC Pretoria focuses on Cambridge International Examinations, offering IGCSE (O-Level) and A-Level examination preparation courses to students from secondary school age. The college is particularly valued by British diplomatic families posted to the South African capital, as well as internationally mobile professionals from the European Union, the Commonwealth, and beyond. Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level qualifications are among the most prestigious secondary school credentials worldwide, providing straightforward pathways to UK university entry and recognisable qualifications for admission to institutions in Australia, Canada, the US, and other English-speaking countries. BIC's small class sizes and experienced, qualified teachers ensure intensive and personalised examination preparation. The school follows the South African four-term academic year. Pretoria's large concentration of diplomatic missions, UN agencies, and development organisations drives consistent demand for BIC's British examination programme among internationally mobile families in the capital.
