British International College Johannesburg

The British International College (BIC) is a highly regarded British-curriculum school with campuses in Bryanston, Johannesburg, and Pretoria, catering primarily to British expatriates, international families, and South African students seeking globally recognised qualifications. BIC follows the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) syllabus, preparing students for IGCSE (O-Level) and A-Level qualifications — the gold standard of British secondary education and essential for university entry in the United Kingdom, South Africa, and worldwide. The school follows the South African academic year with four terms, making it practical for locally resident families. BIC's small class sizes and personalised approach provide students with intensive preparation for their Cambridge examinations. Students regularly achieve outstanding IGCSE and A-Level results, facilitating admission to leading British and South African universities. The Bryanston campus is conveniently located in one of Johannesburg's most sought-after northern suburbs, serving the large expat community around Sandton, Fourways, and surrounds. BIC is particularly valued by British families on corporate assignments who need seamless curriculum continuity with the UK system.
