Bermuda High School for Girls

Bermuda High School for Girls (BHS) is Bermuda's premier independent school for girls, founded in 1894 in Pembroke, Bermuda. Offering education from kindergarten through Sixth Form, BHS is the only all-girls school in Bermuda and one of the oldest and most prestigious educational institutions in the British Atlantic. The school follows a British-influenced curriculum leading to IGCSE and A-Level examinations, with consistently outstanding results that rank BHS among the best schools in the British Overseas Territories. BHS has a distinguished history of academic excellence, producing graduates who attend top universities in the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, and beyond. The school's motto — Veritatem Quaerere (Seek Truth) — embodies its commitment to intellectual inquiry and moral development. BHS alumnae include prominent Bermudian women across all professions. Its beautiful Pembroke campus, strong extracurricular programs in arts, music, and sports, and its 130-year history make BHS a cornerstone of Bermudian education.
