Berlin Cosmopolitan School

Berlin Cosmopolitan School is a progressive independent international school founded in 2010, located in the heart of Mitte, Berlin's most cosmopolitan district. The school offers bilingual German-English education from nursery through to the German Abitur and IB Diploma for students aged 2 to 18. Authorised by the IBO and accredited by CIS, Berlin Cosmopolitan School emphasises creative thinking, global citizenship, and individual development alongside rigorous academics. The school draws students from over 40 nationalities, reflecting Berlin's role as one of Europe's most international cities. The school's educational philosophy combines Reggio Emilia-inspired early childhood education with a project-based learning approach in primary years, transitioning to a structured IB framework in secondary. Small class sizes, highly qualified international teachers, and strong parental involvement create a warm, effective learning community. The school's central Berlin location enables integration of the city's extraordinary arts, science, and cultural resources into daily school life. Berlin Cosmopolitan is a popular choice for families in Berlin's growing tech and creative industries.
