Beau Soleil

Beau Soleil is one of Switzerland's most prestigious Alpine boarding schools, founded in 1910 and spectacularly located at 1,200 metres above sea level in Villars-sur-Ollon in the Vaud Alps. Educating students aged 11 to 18 from over 60 nationalities, Beau Soleil offers the IB Diploma, Swiss Matura, and French Baccalauréat. Accredited by CIS and authorised by the IBO, the school is celebrated for its extraordinary natural setting, outstanding ski programme, and warm, family atmosphere. Students ski directly to the slopes in winter, and the school's outdoor education programme — hiking, rock climbing, and Alpine exploration — is integrated into the curriculum year-round. Part of the Globeducate network, Beau Soleil is known for its personalised approach, excellent French and English language instruction, and strong IB results. The school's intimate size — approximately 200 students — ensures every student is known and challenged. Beau Soleil's unique combination of Alpine lifestyle, academic rigour, and international community makes it one of Europe's most romantic and distinctive boarding schools.
