Bali Island School

Serving both the expat and local community in Sanur Village since 1985, Bali Island School is an IB World School. BIS has grown from an initial class size of eight primary school students to over 300 students from PreK through 12th Grade but it hasn’t lost the tight-knit community that started with its origins as a family run school. BIS is the only school in Indonesia with accreditation from the Council of International Schools, the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and authorization for three IB programs. BIS’s community engagement programs create close ties between students and the society they live in while the holistic education programs foster an international perspective relevant to a modern and interconnected world.
