Atlanta International School

Atlanta International School (AIS), founded in 1984, is the Southeast's leading international school and a flagship IB World School offering the full IB continuum from PYP through Diploma Programme. Located in the Buckhead neighbourhood, AIS serves approximately 1,500 students from over 70 nationalities in Preschool through Grade 12. AIS is distinctive in offering multilingual immersion in French, German, and Spanish alongside English, making it one of the most linguistically diverse schools in the United States. The school is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS), SACS, and the European Council of International Schools (ECIS). AIS serves Atlanta's substantial diplomatic, corporate, and international community — home to the headquarters of Delta Air Lines, Coca-Cola, and the US Centers for Disease Control. Graduates are admitted to top universities in the US, Europe, and worldwide. The school's commitment to multilingualism, global citizenship, and the IB philosophy makes it unique in the American South.
