Archimedean Academy

Archimedean Academy, founded in 2002, is a unique public charter school in Miami offering an extraordinary Classical Greek-language and mathematics-focused education for students in grades K–12. One of only a handful of schools in the United States teaching Greek as a primary language of instruction, Archimedean combines rigorous classical education with the IB Diploma Programme and exceptional STEM programming. SACS-accredited, the school has earned national recognition for its extraordinary mathematics outcomes — Archimedean students routinely win state and national mathematics competitions and achieve among the highest IB Diploma scores in Florida. The school's bilingual Greek-English curriculum draws on the ancient Greek tradition of intellectual inquiry, connecting modern academic achievement to classical roots. Archimedean serves Miami's significant Greek-American community alongside families of all backgrounds who value rigorous academics and classical education. The school's graduates are exceptionally well-prepared for university studies in mathematics, sciences, and the humanities, and consistently gain admission to selective colleges and universities.
