Amman Baptist School

Amman Baptist School (ABS) is a long-established co-educational Christian school in the historic Jebel Webdeh district of Amman, serving the local and international community since 1974. ABS offers a British-based curriculum alongside IB elements, preparing students from Pre-KG through Grade 12 (ages 3–18) for Cambridge IGCSE examinations and IB Diploma. The school's mission is grounded in Christian values — nurturing young people to believe in God, become lifelong learners, and emerge as leaders who serve their communities. ABS has built bridges between Jordan's local population, Palestinian community, and diverse international expatriate families. The school welcomes students of all nationalities and faith backgrounds, maintaining a warm, inclusive culture rooted in respect, compassion, and academic diligence. Academic programmes are complemented by a rich extracurricular offering including arts, music, drama, sports, and community service. ABS is recognised by the Jordanian Ministry of Education and holds membership of international Christian school associations. The school's Jebel Webdeh location places it in one of Amman's most culturally rich and centrally located residential areas, easily accessible to families across the capital.
