American International Montessori School

Offering Montessori programs for toddlers through elementary school students, American International Montessori of Berkley, California delivers a culturally-rich program taught by highly-trained teachers in a Japanese or Mandarin immersion environment. In 2009, its founder felt that the child-led Montessori approach needed to be extended to a larger community by incorporating a full-immersion, bilingual approach. Growing in that short time from 30 students to 130 and a faculty of 25, AIM continues to develop in its mission to create a community of confident, multilingual children who are competent and excited to learn. Their holistic approach to education helps students from 18 months to 12 years to learn at their own pace, optimizing their academic achievements without sacrificing individuality.
