American Heritage School

American Heritage School, founded in 1965, is one of South Florida's most academically distinguished independent institutions, serving students from age 2 through grade 12 across campuses in Plantation and Boca Raton/Delray. With approximately 4,000 students combined, American Heritage is among Florida's largest independent schools. SACS-accredited, the school is particularly renowned for producing extraordinary national academic champions — its science and math programs have generated more National Merit Scholars, Intel Science Fair winners, and Olympiad champions than virtually any other private school in Florida. The school offers over 250 courses including more than 30 Advanced Placement classes, ensuring exceptional college preparatory breadth. American Heritage has a significant international student population, reflecting Broward County's diverse immigrant communities. The school's biomedical research program, engineering academy, and entrepreneurship initiatives provide students with real-world academic experiences. American Heritage graduates gain admission to the nation's most selective universities in exceptional numbers, making it one of Florida's premier academic institutions.
