Abroad International School Sendai Izumi

Abroad International School Sendai Izumi Campus is a preschool and kindergarten campus of the Abroad International School network serving young children in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture. The Izumi Campus provides English immersion early childhood education for children from preschool through kindergarten age, typically 1 to 5 years old, offering a nurturing English-speaking environment during the most critical years of language development. Located in the Aoba Ward, the Izumi Campus extends the Abroad International School Sendai network to serve families across different neighborhoods of the city. The school philosophy centers on total English immersion as the most effective approach to bilingual development, with experienced international educators creating warm, stimulating classrooms where children naturally acquire English alongside their Japanese mother tongue. Abroad International School has established itself as a trusted provider of international early childhood education in the Tohoku region, serving both expatriate families and Japanese families with international aspirations for their children. The campus maintains small class sizes to ensure personalized care and optimal language exposure for each child. Graduates of the Izumi Campus often continue their international education journey at the Sendai Aoba Campus or other international primary schools in the Sendai area.
