Located in Lincoln Park, Abraham Lincoln Elementary School is a neighbourhood school specializing in humanities-based curriculum, through technology, the arts, and literacy programs. Lincoln School is also home to the Ecole Franco-Americaine de Chicago (EFAC). EFAC is a tuition-supported program with a curriculum certified by the French government for French-speaking children in grades K-8. This school is organized around a “School-Within-a-School framework”. This means that within the school, there are five organizational components: Primary (K-2), Intermediate (3-5), Upper (6-8), Specialty, and Diverse Learners. Within these groups, they can enhance the experience of all students from both academic and social/emotional perspectives.
